Tosin Falaiye

With extensive experience spanning over a dozen years between Canada and Nigeria, Tosin heads our disputes resolution and business advisory team. His practice experience includes time spent as an associate lawyer at a leading corporate commercial law firm, before taking on the roles of a legal researcher, associate and senior associate within the firm before being admitted to the firm’s partnership.

Tosin’s versatility, resourceful, and pragmatic approach to client matters have proven valuable to the local and international clients on issues related to contracts, business advisory, real estate, corporate transactions, and civil dispute matters. He also represents individuals and corporate entities in all aspects of Canadian Immigration, Citizenship and Refugee Protection law.

In addition to the firm’s practice areas, Tosin has also, in course of his legal career, provided legal representation on issues related to finance and banking, intellectual property, telecommunications, oil & gas, employment disputes, taxation, debt recovery, and commercial law transactions.

Tosin is an experienced advocate with hands-on experience appearing before trial and appellate courts, administrative tribunals, and alternate dispute resolution panels in mediation, negotiation, and arbitration proceedings. As a solicitor, he has advised on transactions from negotiation stages to consummation and execution. Tosin possesses an exceptional knack for streamlining client goals and creatively developing pragmatic strategies to not only get the client to the desired end but also surpass imagined heights.

He is licensed to practice law in Ontario, Canada, and Nigeria, and regularly facilitates seminars and workshops geared towards educating participants on key issues around international migration and policy, from a Canadian perspective.

Outside of legal services, Tosin is a photographer who utilizes his creative side in documenting various life events through portraits and lifestyle photography.

As a well-rounded personality with a passion for service and leadership, Tosin enjoys playing and watching soccer, making new connections and volunteering in social causes of interest.
